An exciting example of the possibilities in St. Martin Parish is illustrated by SafeSource Direct. The company has committed to bringing 1,200 new jobs with a 400,000 square-foot facility that will manufacture personal protective equipment (PPE), especially nitrile rubber gloves. The facility will be located in the Spanish Trail Industrial Park on a site certified through the Certified Sites state program. The program saved SafeSource Direct nearly six months of preparatory work.
